Ingredients

  • 3 cup Mashed Potato
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tbsp lawrys seasoned salt
  • 2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare mashed potatoes.
  2. I used the box kind.
  3. Mix in the garlic powder and sour cream.
  4. Spray a casserole dish with non stick olive oil spray
  5. Spread prepared mashed potatoes on the bottom of the casserole dish.
  6. Preheat oven to 350F
  7. Make box of macaroni & cheese.
  8. Leave it thick.
  9. Mix in salt & pepper.
  10. At the same time, brown the ground beef and season with lawrys seasoning salt and onion powder.
  11. Drain the ground beef and spread on top of the mashed potatoes.
  12. Spread the macaroni and cheese on top of the ground beef.
  13. Top with the can of Rotel & Green Chile's.
  14. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
  15. Serve and enjoy!
  16. Side note: This also tastes great with a layer of sweet corn.
  17. Add a small chopped onion and fresh minced garlic clove into the meat mixture to kick up the flavor!
