Ingredients

  • 6 oz. orange Jell-O
  • 11 oz. can mandarin oranges
  • 1 pt. orange sherbet

Instructions

  1. Drain mandarin oranges; reserve the liquid.
  2. Use the reserved liquid to dissolve the orange Jell-O, adding enough water to make 2 cups.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then remove from heat.
  4. Add the Jell-O to the boiling liquid, then stir in the orange sherbet until dissolved.
  5. Cool the mixture and refrigerate until it is partially congealed.
  6. Whip in topping until well mixed.
  7. Fold in the drained mandarin orange sections.
  8. Refrigerate several hours before serving.
