Orange Creamcicle Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box orange cake mix
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 (3 oz.) box orange jello
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 2 Tbls. orange extract
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 small bottle sunny delight (6.75 oz.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°, grease and flour 2 - 9 inch cake pans. Mix cake mix oil, jello, eggs, milk and one tsp. orange extract. Pour into cake pans and bake for 25 minutes.
  2. Let cool and split each cake in half, making four cakes.
  3. Mix sour cream, sugar, sunny delight and one tsp. orange extract in a bowl on medium until well blended.
  4. Fold in cool whip and spread between layers and on top and sides.
  5. May have to refrigerate to firm before spreading on cake.
