Oranges Grand Marnier

Delightful orange shells filled with a creamy sherbet and Grand Marnier mixture, offering a refreshing, boozy treat perfect for festive gatherings or elegant desserts.

Ingredients

  • 12 medium navel oranges
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup Grand Marnier or other orange flavored liqueur
  • 1 1/2 quarts orange sherbet, softened

Instructions

  1. Get a 1/2-inch slice from the stem end of each orange.
  2. Scoop out pulp, removing membrane and seeds; reserve orange shells.
  3. Chop pulp, and drain well.
  4. Combine pulp, Grand Marnier, and softened orange sherbet; stir until blended.
  5. Spoon mixture into orange shells and place in muffin pans.
  6. Freeze for 8 hours.
  7. Remove from freezer 20 to 30 minutes before serving.
