Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Microwave 1/2 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar for 2 to 3 minutes to melt the sugar.
  2. Fill the mixture with water up to 1 quart (4 cups).
  3. Add 4 to 5 drops of red food coloring to the mixture.
  4. Cool the nectar and store it in the refrigerator.
