Oven Kahlua Pork

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. rock salt
  • 1 tsp. meat tenderizer
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger or tsp. grated dried ginger
  • 3 or 4 lb. pork butt, slashed

Instructions

  1. Combine first five ingredients.
  2. Rub over pork.
  3. Line 9 x 13-inch pan with aluminum foil, allowing foil to extend generously over one end.
  4. Place pork on foil.
  5. Fold foil over the pork, sealing well.
  6. Roast in 325° oven 4 hours.
  7. To serve:
  8. Shred with 2 forks or with fingers instead of carving.
