Instructions
- Butter one side of bread slices and cut into 1 inch squares. Place in pan.
- Sprinkle bread with cheese.
- Beat remaining ingredients together.
- Pour over bread and cheese.
- For variations:
- add diced ham, green pepper, onions, bacon. Refrigerate overnight or up to 24 hours.
- Bake in 325 degree oven, covered, for 45 minutes.
- Uncover the last 5 - 10 minutes.
