Pasta Shells With Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh broccoli, cut into florets
  • 8 oz. small pasta shells
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook broccoli in boiling water until crisp-tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. Drain.
  3. Cook pasta in boiling salted water following package directions.
  4. Drain.
  5. Heat butter and olive oil in large frying pan.
  6. Add broccoli and garlic.
  7. Saute for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  8. Add pasta, salt and pepper.
  9. Toss well and serve at once.
