Peach Melba is a delightful dessert featuring fresh peaches, pound cake, vanilla ice cream, and raspberry preserves, perfect for small gatherings or elegant dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 Sara Lee frozen pound cake
  • 1 large can peach halves
  • Cool Whip
  • 1 jar raspberry preserves
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Before guests arrive, place a slice of pound cake with one peach half on top into individual dessert dishes or long stem glasses. Refrigerate.
  2. Heat raspberry preserves on low in a saucepan until they become loose and soft.
  3. Spoon hot preserves over the cake and peach.
  4. Add a large scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and more hot preserves.
  5. Add a scoop of Cool Whip and garnish with a cherry on top.
