Ingredients

  • 3 lb. fully ripe peaches
  • 1 (1 3/4 oz.) pkg. powdered fruit pectin
  • 5 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. light rum

Instructions

  1. Combine peaches and pectin in a very large saucepan or Dutch oven.
  2. Place over high heat and bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
  3. Immediately add all the sugar and stir.
  4. Bring to a full rolling boil again and boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
