Ingredients

  • 4 qt. sliced pears, peeled and cored
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple and juice
  • 1 pt. maraschino cherries
  • 3 qt. sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except cherries and let stand overnight.
  2. Next day, cook the mixture until thickened.
  3. Add chopped maraschino cherries and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Pour into jars and seal.
