Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°.
- Melt butter in baking dish and spread along bottom of dish.
- Peel, quarter and pare pears.
- Place pears cut side down on buttered baking dish.
- Mix Karo and brandy in separate bowl and pour over pears.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Serve hot over vanilla ice cream.
- Serves 6.
