Ingredients

  • 1 small or medium head of cabbage
  • 1 or 2 green peppers
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vinegar

Instructions

  1. Quarter the cabbage and remove the core.
  2. Remove the inside seeds from the green peppers.
  3. Grind the cabbage and peppers on coarse blades of a grinder.
  4. Make a mixture of 2/3 cup water and 1/3 cup vinegar to thoroughly moisten the cabbage and peppers.
  5. Add salt, pepper, and a little sugar to taste for seasoning.
  6. Store in a covered bowl in the refrigerator.
