Peppered Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 Hamilton sugar cured ham
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook ham 15 minutes per pound.
  2. Remove from oven; cut away rind.
  3. Tear large strips of aluminum foil.
  4. Mix brown sugar and black pepper on foil.
  5. Pack on ham.
  6. Wrap ham in foil; cook for 40 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven; immediately pour off juices.
