Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 500°F and heat for 15 minutes.
  2. Rub the rib roast with salt.
  3. Place the roast in the oven and cook for 1 hour at 375°F.
  4. Turn off the oven and leave the roast inside for 2 hours without opening the door.
  5. After 2 hours, open the oven if you prefer medium or well-done, and cook for an additional 20 to 30 minutes at 375°F.
  6. For rare roast, do not open the oven after initial cooking.
  7. Enjoy the perfectly roasted beef rib.
