Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  • 1 can Duncan Hines vanilla frosting
  • decorator frosting
  • colored sugar
  • food coloring

Instructions

  1. Line a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan with waxed paper.
  2. Prepare the yellow cake mix as directed on the package.
  3. Bake the cake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  4. Turn the cake out onto a towel and peel off the waxed paper.
  5. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  6. Cut the cake into 1-inch squares.
  7. Place the cake squares on a cooling rack with waxed paper underneath.
  8. Heat the vanilla frosting slightly until thin enough to be poured to make the glaze.
  9. Add food coloring to a portion of the frosting if desired.
  10. Pour the colored or plain glaze over the cake squares.
