Ingredients

  • 8 qt. air popped corn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Boil the brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt until hard crack stage.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
  3. The mixture will foam up; pour it over the air-popped popcorn.
  4. Stir to coat the popcorn evenly.
  5. Bake at 250°F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
