Pineapple Dessert Dump Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (20 oz.) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 3/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Grease bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking pan or dish.
  3. Pour in can of pineapple and spread to corners.
  4. Spread cherry pie filling over pineapple.
  5. Sprinkle yellow cake mix over and smooth out.
  6. Melt butter/margarine and pour over mixture.
  7. Top with nuts.
  8. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until cake mix browns lightly.
