Pineapple Scalloped

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (No. 2) can chunk pineapple and juice
  • 4 or 5 slices bread, cubed
  • 1/4 c. melted butter

Instructions

  1. Dissolve sugar in pineapple juice.
  2. Add remaining ingredients. Mix in bowl; let absorb.
  3. Place mixture in lightly buttered dish. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
  4. This can be eaten hot or cold; also good reheated.
