- In a saucepan, combine sugar, milk, Karo syrup, butter, and salt; cook over medium heat until the mixture reaches the soft ball stage, stirring occasionally.

- Pour the pink glaze over 6 to 8 quarts of popped corn, adding a little at a time and stirring gently until all corn is coated.
- Continue stirring the coated corn until the glaze firms up and separates from the popcorn, forming a glossy coating.
