Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 qt. plums
  • 1 lb. sugar cubes
  • 1 fifth of gin

Instructions

  1. Wash the plums thoroughly.
  2. Prick each plum with a fork.
  3. Place the plums into a large jar.
  4. Add the sugar cubes to the jar.
  5. Pour the gin over the plums and sugar.
  6. Let the mixture brew for several weeks.
  7. Strain the liquid to remove the plums and sediment.
  8. Enjoy your homemade plum brandy.
