Poor Professor'S Casserole

Ingredients

  • 6 pieces buttered bread, cut off edges and butter both sides
  • 3/4 lb. sharp cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. mustard
  • 2 c. milk
  • 4 eggs

Instructions

  1. Place buttered bread on bottom of large casserole.
  2. Beat eggs, salt, mustard, milk and cheese together.
  3. Pour over bread. Refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours.
  4. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before baking.
  5. Bake 1 hour at 250°.
  6. Serve immediately.
