Ingredients

  • 7 medium potatoes
  • 6 slices stale bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper
  • 1 c. sour cream

Instructions

  1. Grate raw potatoes on a coarse grater.
  2. Soak bread cubes in milk and beaten eggs.
  3. Add potatoes and seasoning.
  4. Put in buttered baking dish.
  5. Pour sour cream over top, which makes it taste like cheese.
  6. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or longer.
