Ingredients

  • 7 cups sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 lemons, thinly sliced
  • 2 ounces crystallized ginger, chopped

Instructions

  1. Make a syrup of the sugar and water.
  2. Add lemon, ginger and pears.
  3. Simmer for approximately one hour.
  4. Pour into jelly glasses and seal.
