Ingredients

  • 4 to 8 lb. rib roast
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can Au Saur (optional)
  • fresh green pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat optional ingredients into the meat.
  2. Place the roast, fat side up, in a baking pan.
  3. Add water to the pan.
  4. Bake at 375°F for 1 hour without opening the oven door.
  5. Before serving, cook at 375°F for 30 minutes for rare, 45 minutes for medium, or 1 hour for well done.
  6. Cook uncovered.
