Ingredients
- 1/4 cup margarine ⓘ
- 1 cup chopped onions ⓘ
- 1 cup green pepper strips ⓘ
- 2 pounds raw ground turkey ⓘ
- 6-ounce can tomato paste ⓘ
- 1/2 cup water ⓘ
- 1 cup green olives, coarsely chopped ⓘ
- 1 cup raisins ⓘ
- 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 1/4 teaspoons chili powder ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper ⓘ
Instructions
- Melt margarine in a frypan over medium-high heat.
- Add chopped onions and green pepper strips; sauté until limp.
- Add ground turkey, mixing well, and cook until no longer pink, about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Add tomato paste, water, chopped green olives, raisins, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Spoon the cooked turkey mixture onto buns and serve.
