Prune Custard Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 box prunes, cooked
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 can Pet milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • sugar
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Instructions

  1. Cover prunes with water and cook until done, chopping while they cook and sweeten to your taste.
  2. Put in pie shell.
  3. Beat egg and little more sugar, also 1 teaspoon cornstarch, 1/2 can Pet milk and vanilla.
  4. Mix and pour over prunes.
  5. Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes or until done.
