Ingredients

  • 1 gal. cucumbers in 1 gal. jar
  • 1 qt. white vinegar
  • 3 qt. water
  • 1 c. salt
  • dill
  • alum

Instructions

  1. Mix vinegar, water and salt.
  2. Heat solution and pour over cucumbers.
  3. Add a piece of dill to jar.
  4. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon alum over jar.
