Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 pkg. tortilla chips
  • 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook and stir ground beef and onion in 10-inch skillet until beef is brown; drain.
  2. Stir in seasoning mix (dry) and water. Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
  3. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Spoon beef mixture onto chips.
  5. Top with remaining ingredients.
