Ingredients

  • 1 lb. beef stew meat
  • 2 qt. water
  • 2 cans (large) tomatoes
  • 4 beef bouillon cubes or canned broth
  • 4 cubes vegetable bouillon
  • 2 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
  • salt
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown beef in small amount oil.
  2. Add water, tomatoes and beef and vegetable bouillons.
  3. Simmer 1 hour, more if needed.
  4. Add vegetables and seasoning.
  5. Simmer 1 hour or until vegetables and meat are done.
  6. Great for unexpected company and nourishing too.
