Rainbow Jello Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. jello (any color)
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. cold water

Instructions

  1. Prepare cake mix as directed.
  2. Put in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. Cool 15 minutes.
  4. Prick holes every 1/2 inch.
  5. (A straw works pretty well to do this.)
  6. Dissolve jello in boiling water.
  7. Add cold water.
  8. Pour jello mix over cake, making sure it goes in the holes.
  9. Chill for 3 to 4 hours.
  10. Top with Cool Whip.
