Ingredients

  • 4 slices pound cake or sponge cake shells or meringue shells
  • 10 oz. package quick-thaw red raspberries, thawed
  • 1/4 tsp. almond extract
  • vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Place each cake slice or shell on individual serving plates.
  2. Combine thawed raspberries with almond extract.
  3. Top each cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  4. Add about 1/4 cup of the raspberry mixture on top of the ice cream.
  5. Finish with a generous spoonful of whipped topping.
