Raspberry-Cream Tart

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1/3 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. In medium bowl, combine first 3 ingredients.
  3. With hand, knead mixture until blended.
  4. Pat pastry onto bottom and up side of a 10-inch tart pan with removable bottom.
  5. Bake 20 minutes, or until pastry is golden.
  6. In cup, beat egg white; use to brush hot pastry shell.
  7. Cool pastry shell in pan on wire rack.
  8. Remove side from pan.
