Ingredients

  • 1 (2 layer size) pkg. white cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry Jell-O
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake mix as directed on the package and bake in a well-greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes.
  2. Cool the cake in the pan for 15 minutes, then poke holes at 1/2-inch intervals with a fork.
  3. Dissolve the raspberry Jell-O in boiling water.
  4. Add cold water to the dissolved gelatin and spoon it over the cake in the pan.
  5. Chill the cake for 3 to 4 hours.
  6. Top with thawed Cool Whip.
  7. Garnish with raspberries or colored sprinkles.
