Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter
  • 1 lb. sugar (2 c.)
  • 1 lb. eggs (10 eggs)
  • 1 lb. flour (4 c.; not cake flour)
  • vanilla and lemon flavoring to taste

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar well.
  2. Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time, alternately
  3. with
  4. flour.
  5. Add

  7. Place in a cold oven and set
  8. temperature

  10. 275°
  11. and cook for 2 hours without peeping.
