Ingredients

  • juice of 1 lemon
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 cups coarsely chopped rhubarb
  • 3 packages fruit pectin
  • 7 1/2 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine the lemon juice, orange juice, and water with the coarsely chopped rhubarb in a large pot.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and add the fruit pectin, stirring until the pectin is fully dissolved.
  3. Add the sugar to the boiling mixture and stir well.
  4. Boil gently for 5 minutes, maintaining a steady simmer.
  5. Pour the hot marmalade into sterilized jars and seal.
