Rice 'N Rye

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. uncooked wild rice
  • 2/3 c. uncooked rye berries*
  • 1 c. uncooked long grain brown rice
  • 1 pkg. Mrs. Grass onion soup mix
  • 5 1/2 to 6 c. water

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a large, heavy saucepan.
  2. Cover. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and gently boil approximately 45 to 55 minutes or until wild rice and brown rice are tender.
  3. The rye berries will be firm and golden/rust colored.
  4. The three textures and flavors are a delight!
