Rolls For Freezing

Ingredients

  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 5 1/2 Tbsp. corn oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, beaten light
  • flour (to make a stiff dough)
  • 1/2 c. lukewarm water (105~ to 110~)
  • 2 pkg. yeast

Instructions

  1. In large electric mixer bowl, place the 1 tablespoon sugar, yeast and lukewarm water.
  2. Let yeast dissolve.
  3. Add all other ingredients, adding flour gradually, beating constantly on low speed.
  4. Add flour to make a stiff dough.
  5. Let dough rise until double in size.
  6. Make out rolls in your favorite size.
  7. Brush tops with butter.
  8. Freeze on cookie sheet.
  9. The next morning, place in Ziploc bag.
  10. When ready to bake, take rolls out and let them double in size.
  11. Bake at 350° until brown.
