Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime rind
  • 6 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 cup rum

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, mix sugar and water.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add grated lime rind to the saucepan.
  4. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
  5. Stir in lime juice and rum.
