Ingredients

  • 1 small envelope gelatin
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. heavy cream or whipping cream
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • raspberries/strawberries

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly mix
  2. gelatin with sugar.
  3. Add water and stir until sugar
  4. and
  5. gelatin
  6. are
  7. completely dissolved.
  8. Stir in heavy cream.
  9. Chill
  10. until
  11. slightly
  12. thickened (35 minutes). Add sour cream and vanilla.
  13. Blend with rotary beater and add fruit.
  14. Beat until bubbly.
  15. Pour into 1 quart bowl or individual molds.
  16. Chill until set.
  17. Unmold on plate and garnish.
