Salmon Boil

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 lb. salmon
  • 6 qt. hot water
  • 3 lb. small red potatoes, cut in half
  • 16 boiling onions
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 c. salt

Instructions

  1. Cut
  2. salmon
  3. up
  4. into
  5. 2-inch squares. Bring to a boil 6-quarts water
  6. with
  7. 1/2 cup salt in 14-inch Dutch oven.
  8. Add potatoes, onions and spices.
  9. Boil 20 minutes.
  10. Add salmon and boil 12 minutes longer.
  11. Drain off liquid and serve.
