Ingredients

  • 3 cans (about 10 Oz. Size) Diced Tomatoes With Green Chiles
  • 1 whole Onion, Peeled And Cut In Quarters
  • 1 cup Cilantro
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 1 whole Lime, Juiced
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Or More Whole Green Chiles (From A Can), Or More As Desired (See Recipe Instructions)
  • 2 Or More Jalapeno Or Thai Chiles (optional, See Recipe)

Instructions

  1. Throw tomatoes, onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, sugar and salt in a food processor and pulse to chop (or finely chop by hand).
  2. Add remaining ingredients below, depending on how spicy you like it, and process to combine.
  3. For mild salsa, add 2 whole green chiles (from a can).
  4. For medium heat salsa, add 2 whole green chiles (from a can) and 2-3 jalapenos or Thai chiles.
  5. For hot salsa, add 2 to 3 whole green chiles (from a can) and 1 habanero pepper.
