Instructions
- Mash potatoes.
- Add shortening, sugar, salt and eggs; cream well.
- Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
- Add lukewarm milk.
- Pour into potato mixture.
- Add enough flour to make stiff.
- Place on floured top.
- Knead dough well; add flour as you knead.
- Let rise in large bowl until double in size.
- Knead again; cut rolls out. Let rise for 2 to 3 hours.
- Bake at 375° until golden brown.
