Ingredients

  • 2 packages biscuit mix
  • 1 lb. ground sausage

Instructions

  1. Prepare biscuit mix according to directions on the package.
  2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  3. Sprinkle raw or precooked sausage evenly over the dough.
  4. Roll the dough into a 3-inch jelly-roll style log.
  5. Place the rolled dough into the freezer for about 30 minutes.
  6. Remove from freezer and slice into 1/4-inch thick pieces.
  7. Place slices on a slightly greased baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until golden brown, approximately 15 minutes.
