Shortbread Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. shortbread cookies, crushed
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 qt. softened vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Mix cookie crumbs and margarine.
  2. Press into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 325°; cool.
  3. Mix together vanilla pudding, milk and ice cream.
  4. Pour over cooled crust.
  5. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  6. Layer Cool Whip over ice cream.
  7. Sprinkle crushed candy over Cool Whip.
