Simple Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 4 c. warm milk
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large casserole.
  2. Bake in 350° oven until thick and the top is brown (1 to 1 1/2 hours).
  3. Great when served with vanilla ice cream!
