Ingredients

  • graham crackers
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Generously butter a loaf or jelly roll pan.
  2. Line bottom with graham crackers.
  3. Melt 1/2 pound butter.
  4. Add sugar and cook over low heat until bubbly.
  5. Pour butter-sugar mixture over crackers. Sprinkle with finely chopped nuts.
  6. Bake 13 to 15 minutes at 350°. Watch closely.
  7. Butter should be browned, but not burned.
