- Wash

- salt cucumbers, use enough salt and water to float an
- egg.
- Soak
- overnight.
- Next
- morning,
- drain.
- Mix water, sugar and vinegar; bring to a boil.
- Drop cucumbers in hot
- brine. When
- they
- change color, take them out and drain brine.
- Pack cucumbers in jars.
- Let brine come to a boil and pour
- over packed cucumbers.
- Add dill, garlic and pepper pod and seal.
