Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. dry active yeast
  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 3/4 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in 1/2 cup of warm water.
  2. Add remaining water and sugar to the mixture.
  3. Leave the mixture out of the refrigerator all day and refrigerate that night.
  4. After 3 days, take out and feed the starter again, then begin making bread as usual.
  5. Put the starter in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.
