Spiced Figs
Ingredients
Instructions
- Remove outer layer of skin from figs; place in stone jar or bowl.
- Boil other ingredients together for 10 minutes and pour over figs.
- Cover and let stand overnight.
- In the morning, drain off liquid and bring to boil.
- Add figs and cook until tender. Pack into hot jars.
- Cover with syrup and seal immediately.
